Do you use Hockey tape in Roller hockey?
Hey Guys,
Quick queston, Do you guys use Hockey tape on your Stick blades when playing Roller hockey (ON A ROLLER HOCKEY SURFACE RINK)? cause people are telling me not to use hockey tape when playing Roller Hockey (at a Roller Hockey rink) with a Plastic Roller Hockey puck. |

dont use tape for roller hockey, its terriable, your blade sticks to the surface. I guess you could always put tape across the blade instead of wrapping it around. But when you have tape un the bottom of the blade it sticks to the surface, just like when you tape your blade for street hockey.

No I don't, and you shouldn't. I played my first game with tape... after 5 minutes, the tape was off.

You know that I've always got the tape on my stick, bren. It's gonna be a personal opinion thing.

Puck = tape
Ball = no tape I think the tape makes it easier to keep the puck on the blade, but a ball has to roll on the surface, and hockeytape seems to stick to the ball IMO. But its a matter of personal preferences... __________________

I tape my blades for roller hockey. The rink is wood & once the tape wears off the bottom of the blade (I guess you could just not wrap it around) it doesn't feel any slower than without the tape...plus I prefer the feel of a taped blade to an untaped one, but hey that is just a personal preference.
