Roller Hockey Goalie..........skates?....
Link To any goalie, or anyone, would you recommend using inline goalie skates vs. a traditional inline hockey skate? I've been going back and forth as to whether to buy a pair or not, but at $250........yikes. Do smaller wheels really make goaltending that much easier/more fluid? __________________ ![]() The Fat Sloppy Saga

Smaller wheels make a huge difference. could save your ankles from being destroyed, also help with mobility and getting up and down.
I think you should get a pair, not only for mobility but also for protection. __________________ ![]() ^^Epik pimped this space...very nice..

If you are serious about playing goal, get them.
You wouldn't use player's skates on ice either, would you? Smaller and more flat wheels make a huge difference in your stability and mobility (larger wheels are better for speed, smaller for mobility). The cowling and the shoe are the same as in an ice skate, you won't feel an thing when a puck hits you, as for player's skates... I've had toe caps busted on two player's skates and since I've got myself a pair of theese, I'm a happy camper. Have them for two years with no complaints. |
