Apparently for 14 years ive been shooting wrong

I read up somewhere that if you're right handed you should be using a lefty stick because for better control, your hand of dexterity is at the top.

I shoot Lefty, but I also bat in baseball Lefty. I throw righty, and thats my stronger arm, but I was just raised that way.

Yeah I'm righty and use righty, but I'm very comfortable with just my left hand on the stick at some times. I use it quite often to shield the puck from the defender.

Also, weird forum to put this in.

I know what they mean by saying a right hander should shoot left, because I see how I could potentially have better control with one hand on the stick if I shot left. But that would be ALL I could do. I've tried shooting left and I just have no fluidy to it or form. It just doesn't work.

So basically I shoot right because it gives me the most control overall. :)

Same. I couldn't imagine playing with a righty stick.

I think there was a poll some time ago (or maybe in TP), and apparently there's more right shooters than left shooters. At least among members. I found that weird.
