I am posting this now even though I have had me Vapor XXX skates and gloves for some time. But I just bought the stick like 2 weeks ago so I had to wait a bit. The smileys are the stars. so if you see this "
" its 4 out of 5 and so on.First some background info on me since I am different than everyone else. Height: 5'10"-5'11" Weight: 168 Position: Defense Skates: Price:$415(what I got them for) This is my 2nd season using them. I love them. First Bauer skates I ever have bought/used. First thing you will notice is how light they are. Probably as light if not lighter than my street shoes or it seems atleast. They can be heated in the oven for easier breaking in. I have done it. Takes you a bit to get used to the weight of em. They are pretty durable but mine are getting cut up from others skate blades. But they are holding up. I'd say they really inproved my speed since I dont have blocks of concreate on my feet anymore. I love them. I hope they make Vapor XXXX cause I'll buy them. I recommend them, that is if you don't mind spending $400+ for them. Gloves: Price:$130 I bought them about before summer. Didn't get to use them for a couple weeks. I love them. Easy to break into. It has the thumb seperate from the gloves so its not all stiff. Really durable. They haven't shown really any wear. Except on the palm of the left gloves from the butt-end of the stick. Although I bought them a little big. They seem to run a little bigger than the last CCM gloves I had. Which were the same size. They are a bit pricey for gloves. I got mine for $130 new. 1/2Stick: This is for the 2006 Vapor XXX Lite Price:$175 Just got it not to long ago, pretty durable. I have taken many slashes to already. The decals are getting messed up for some of you people who only go for looks. I use the Lindros curve with Pro Flex 102. I actually wanted the Naslund but someone bought it right before me. Its a mid-curve. Not as big as my Thorton Vector I had been using for 2 seasons. Its light as hell. As all of the other Vapor gear. Took me time get used to. Its great. But when it breaks I'll be pissed. ![]() |

:o where did you find the Vapor XXX stick for $175? Even in Canada here the skates and gloves are around the same price (i know, i have the gloves) but that stick is wicked cheap, I saw it at National Sports for $299! Any thoughts because it might just be cheaper if I cross the boarder to buy one.

I will also second the Vapor XXX Gloves and Stick
I had the Vapor XXX Lite since last december and it finally broke a couple weeks ago. Best feel ever.. my Easton Stealth feels like plastic compared to that thing but it's personal opinion. As for the gloves, IMO they feel better than the one90 gloves |

I have the XXX gloves. They are very good. Maybe they should make it less bulky and a bit longer for protection , but they are the best ones i have ever had.

I have the XXX skates, they're super light. I love the liner in them, very cool.
I've got one of the original XX sticks still, but I'm planning to get an XXX Lite fairly soon (my XX is about to break) |

Re: Nike/Bauer Vapor XXX Gloves, Skates and Stick Review
The blade on my XXX lite stick is cracking at the bottom. I don't abuse it. But I am a defensemen so i can see why.

Re: Nike/Bauer Vapor XXX Gloves, Skates and Stick Review
I liked the feel of the Vapor XXX gloves but they didn't fit my hand exactly right. The one90 gloves have a more snug fit that I seem to like, but I am trying to find a pair of pro stock RBK gloves.

Re: Nike/Bauer Vapor XXX Gloves, Skates and Stick Review
I know what you mean. My last gloves were size 13 and they were too small and my XXX gloves are 14 and they are a little too big.

Re: Nike/Bauer Vapor XXX Gloves, Skates and Stick Review
The one90 13 incher fits very snug, like a winter glove. I think they designed the glove for a more snug fit. I may end up getting a pair. I wish that the black glove was all black and didn't have the grey palm material on it still.
