What brand Helmet do you use?

Bauer, CCM, RBK, Mission, Itech, Jofa, Tour, Nike, Cooper, WinnWell, or something that I forgot?

Simply put, Bauer makes the BEST hockey helmets around.

At the moment I use Bauer 5000s, but I think I'm going to get a NikeBauer 4500.

I have one of the older Bauer model helmets, and I haven't had any issues with it thusfar. Almost going on four years.

And, I change between cage, and half-shield about three times a week.

Very sturdy. :)

I planned on going with a visor until I got hit with a shot in the cage and got a brutal high stick right on the bottom of my cage in the same night. I'll stick with the cage until I have insurance

I only use a half-shield while I'm playing roller hockey, and it's only a ball that's being played with.

I used to take it off for Juniors, and then my league switched back to USA Hockey standards, and I was forced to put it back on.

Oh roller, Yeah I usually don't wear a helmet, and when needed, I just wear the helmet with no face mask. I've taken a few roller hockey pucks off the face and it doesn't really hurt too much.
