Re: From the Bleachers Community Question: Brett Favre
I think he should stick to his word when he said "I am retiring".
Not saying I don't like him. I love him as a football player and I think he should make it to the Hall of Fame but Aaron Rogers is the future of GB and he needs to grow for that team. Stop pulling Green Bay's chain Brett!! Last edited by ruff_edgz : 07-12-2008 at 04:40 PM. |

My idea, although not as genius as bretski's, was that he could play for some invitational golf tournament, maybe Buick or Cadillac. I also hear that Arena Football has about 5000 attendees during the playoffs so that might be neat for him. If not, there's always Canada. |

He could do any of those things. I'd actually like to see him in the Arena league.

Re: From the Bleachers Community Question: Brett Favre
I think they should hold him to his word as he did when he SIGNED his contract. If you choose to go through the hoopla of retiring, saying goodbye, crying in front of the cameras and filing the paperwork, you should be held accountable for your words.
Plus, he's only getting all worked up because of the Madden release with his hillbilly mug on the cover |

Re: From the Bleachers Community Question: Brett Favre
I think he should comeback if Aaron falls on his face through week 4. And I think thats whats being said behind the scenes. Rogers, if he weathers this pressure succesfully, he will be one hell of a Qb. The **** he is dealing with is way beyond your typical first year.
That said, I am not mad at Brett. You know you can still play, you dont want to spend the rest of your years, "what if..?" |
