Horse racing (Gallop Racer is great, but I'd like to see a major developer take on a horse racing SIM. EA taking on a branded game like that Breeder's Cup game - maybe "Road to the Roses 09" - would be awesome. Get licenses to real horses, make a realistic breeding, racing, and management engine)
NCAA hockey (so UND can dominate)
Amateur Wrestling (international freestyle/greco or folkstyle)
I'd love a BJJ sim
I'm still waiting for a good MMA SIM

Women's soccer
WNBA (though those two should just be added to the FIFA/NBA games)

if you want a women's soccer/basketball game just play the current games and add long hair while lowering the stats.

hopefully the UFC game coming out next year will be good.

I would love to see NCAA hockey and lacrosse. I've been wanting NCAA hockey for years now.

And I remember an old rugby game for PS2. I remember renting it years back, but I didn't really get into it because I didn't know all of the rules/terminology and it got frustrating.

definitely a good horse racing game. anyone who has ever played derby club owners is like addicted to it. if they could make a game as good as that one i would be happy as heck.

The Birth of an Athlete:

It's like a campus legend/superstar and it is like a simulation. You start at age three, you have like in Madden the parental DNA and you play backyard games to try to learn all the sports. Then when you do better at each sport you begin to focus on 1-2 specific sports, you move up to middle school ball and then high school ball and then if you do well you get scouted and then you can export to NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, NBA Live, a college baseball game, track and field etc. etc. Like a sports RPG.
