Re: From the Bleacher Community Question: New Sports Titles
Even though I asked you guys the question about the woman sports back on like the second show and Shanker doesn't like it when girls play sports, I'm going to have to go with Cricket!
The ICC (International Cricket Council) said like a month ago that they want to try and Americanize the sport of Cricket. They are going to spend like $48 million to bring it over to the US and maybe Canada (for a 5 match/1 day event). I don't think it will get popular but if it does, that sport will become an instant pick up for EA to buy out Cricinfo - Azhar, Miandad to play in Twenty20 event in USA |

Cricket would be interesting to see played in the US since you're allowed to hit the pitcher with the ball.... :D

I wanna see NCAA Hockey.. i think it would be a pretty big hit, as long as they took the time they do in Madden and NCAA Football

I think Handball would be fun to play. Although it is a predominantly female sport in most of Europe, it is definitely a male sport as well. It is kind of a mix between basketball and soccer.

Definitely up in New York and Michigan. They love UM Hockey and Buffalo I think is really good. There is a group on facebook with like 20,000 some people on it for NCAA Hockey game.

Re: From the Bleacher Community Question: New Sports Titles
EA have made both Cricket and rugby games in the past. I've never really played the rugby games, but the cricket games lacked gameplay balance in my experience.
Lacrosse could make a cool game, but it would have to be done well, else it would just feel like a less controlled version of hockey. A field hockey game would be quite cool. I think I've mentioned before that I would like a decent Rugby League game. For those who don't know, rugby league is to Rugby Union what the CFL is to the NFL, i.e. Northern and slightly less popular lol. Seriously though, it is more like football than Rugby Union. As for women's sports, a softball game could be ok. Dunno about WNBA, a lot of people regard it as a joke. At least softball is taken slightly more seriously. __________________ Don't it look so pretty this disappearing world |

Exotic Dancins: Past, Present, and Futures Stars of Ejaculation
Game Mode: Pornstar Legend (much like NCAA Campus Legend in NCAA 09) you start your carear as a male/female pornstar working your way up the ranks. there are many different add ons to increase popularity. your goal is to eventually get up with the likes of the biggest names in the industry. You even have the ability to go in and edit types of clothes you wear and your signature "finishing" move. Then as soon as your done editing the game freezes and your pissed off and you want your money back and the viscious cycle of EA sticking it to the man continues. __________________ ![]() EAFL-E Season 18 Denver Broncos ( 7-0 ) Courage+Belief= Life |

Re: From the Bleacher Community Question: New Sports Titles
what sgibs is decribing is a game called 'leisure suit larry'...to a degree
but NCAA Lacrosse would definately be a game that i would LOVE to see. not only is lacrosse a game that is growing across the nation but it really diserves its own video game. years ago there was a game called 'blast lacrosse' which was a game that had the indoor 'box' style lacrosse game, which i dont find interesting at all. i can picture it now...a cross between the NHL or NBA and even FIFA engines that have been already set for us...a countless number of dodge/moves can be used...just as much, if not more hitting than hockey, and a fast paced game that requires just as much strategy as football. i am biased due to me being a former lacrosse player, but still i think even somoene whos not really a lacrosse fan could enjoy the game if done properly |

Re: From the Bleacher Community Question: New Sports Titles
A well made, high tempo squash game could be fun.
Also, how about a game based around the sex olympics? We NEED one of those. It should also include celebrity cameos. Last edited by johnr2806 : 07-26-2008 at 07:29 AM. |
