Consider myself tossing my name in there for a TW lesson. Ive played this game since the PGA Tour games back on Genesis and all the Jack Nicklaus series on PC back in the 90's. I played a round last night and learned ALOT about the GAMEPLAY, not the features, and I was quite disappointed. Ill be posting another Outsider's Insider today with some info on the game. But Fred, Id be happy to go through this game and GOLFING in general with a fine tooth comb. If you still got the old SOCOM one, it works, if not the Logitech is at EB/GS for 19.99. Its a nice one.


I made my player last night and shot 9 at the Harbor. You initially get approached by the caddy and he makes you play one whole, evaluates your positioning, swing, etc, then you do your thing, whether its start a career, Tiger Challenge, or just regular game modes. I see they have added four or five new modes forget what they are, I know best ball is one of them. I shot -1 after nine with my created golfer. The Harbor isnt a hard course and I would have done better but I shot a quad bogey on 4, a par 3, but its surrounded by water so I plunked two back to back in it. Once you are done with your round and they "write you a check" for the money you earned, he re-evaluateds the upgrades you did in that round, increasing your attributes. I bought a couple things in the Pro Shop, you start off with 2500.00 but it goes fast. I think I got a Nike Shirt and a glove lol
