Just when you thought the saints wr corps was fast enough
A QB ON THE MOVE
This year, running back Reggie Bush is the Saints draft pick that has commanded the most buzz. Last year, it was quarterback Adrian McPherson. But now the Saints' 2005 fifth-round pick is no longer exclusively playing quarterback. McPherson is being used at wide receiver and punt returner, too. Early on, Adrian McPherson showed he might struggle becoming an NFL quarterback. Part of the reason is that the Saints have ample depth at quarterback with free-agent acquisition Jamie Martin and veteran Todd Bouman. But a more significant reason might be the Saints' desire to get McPherson on the field, something he is not expected to do anytime soon at quarterback. McPherson's athletic abilities are so great that the Saints want to find ways to get him on the field, however it is done. It is the reason McPherson has been fielding punts this week for the first time in his football career. It is why he could wind up seeing action at wide receiver in some of the Saints' preseason games. The Saints have a weapon. Now they have to figure out how to use it. Pretty sweet eh? __________________ ![]() Sean Taylor - Ed Reed - Santana Moss ![]() Willis McGahee - Edgerrin James - Jonathan Vilma ![]() Ray Lewis - Reggie Wayne - Warren Sapp The best of the U
