War Room confusion

I was looking at some of the archive items in the war room for 2006 - I use an xbox - some of the directions for setting up defenses refer to "R3" for the xbox 9as well as r3 for the PS). for example: "Crash the line outside (XBOX - White + R3 + up / PS2 - L1 + R3 + up)."

I don't think i have an R3 stick or button on the xbox controller - all I have are: White, Black, Y, B, A, X, Start ann Stop buttons, and Right Trigger, Left Trigger, Right Stick, Left Stick, and DPad. So what is the R3 referring to?

The R3 simply refers to the right analog stick for both systems.

Sorry for any confusion - we'll make sure to clear that up for this season.

OK thanks - I have another question - in the forum there was a list of so-called "nano" blitzes - I've tried most of them and in the right situations they work really well - and most are simple to set up. It doesn't appear, however, that any of them were ever posted in the war room. They were not posted in the forum until very late in the spring of this year so I expected to find them in the war room for 2006. Now I'm a bit disappointed because I suspect similar items will not be in the war room for 2007, and I'll have to wait until next spring when someone graciously post similar items for 2007 in the forum. If you guys are playing madden 24/7 that is the type of stuff I would expect to find in the war room.

Nogods,

Trust me, the stuff in the War Room are tactics that myself, as well as the other members of our staff used in major tournaments throughout the course of the year. I personally used one blitz in the War Room almost exclusively to get to the finals of the MC in St. Louis. If you have any questions about the setup or certain strategies feel free to PM me anytime.

Thanks,
Kyle
