with my xbox broken, i'm considering switching over to PS2 online to day instead of buying a new box. how are the servers? do they still disconnect every game?

it really depends on your connection, how many scratches are on your game, and the quality of your console. If you have a high speed connection and a clean game and new console you should be fine. The only issue is if you have a router and are connecting to someone else that has a router. There are ways around that though, overall it's not horrible but it can get annoying. Since it's free to play online it's nothing to be upset about in my opinion because you should be able to connect with most people.

I started getting disconnected at the beginning of the game but that's because my PS2 is shot. If your stuff is in good condition you'll be fine.
