haha, my team doesn't have to rely on taping opponent's signals to win. just feed the ball to breaston and watch him go, lol.

Re: A New Beginning - A Boston Shamrocks Fantasy Draft 'Chise

NORWOOD DELIVERS

Mike Brown shows who’s the number one team in the endzone after returning a pass from Alex Smith for six.

Steve Breaston jumps to catch this between defenders Keith Lewis and Jason David.

Jerious Norwood runs over Keith Lewis en route to a touchdown run.

Brian Calhoun puts the finishing touches on the game as he avoids the Keith Lewis tackle attempt to score.

BOSTON (AP)- Three interceptions? Did David Carr start this game by any chance? No, it was Chris Leak who started. Good thing Jerious Norwood decided to play his greatest game of his career. The soon to be named Pro Bowler had 224 yards on 24 carries, and topped that off with 3 touchdowns in the Shamrocks 45-35 win over the Miami Dolphins. The game started with another Shamrock interception return touchdown, this time by free safety Mike Brown, his first on the year. Darren Sproles decided to strike fear in the Boston fans as he ran back the proceeding kickoff for six. Miami then got going with Alex Smith finding Bobby Engram for six and then Chris Leak threw his first interception to Patrick Willis. Willis pulled a Shamrock play and ran back the pick for six. The second started with Justin Medlock’s leg and then Norwood got his first score. Smith then hit Joey Galloway for a score but Medlock and his leg chipped into that lead. Norwood then started the third quarter with a score and added the two-point conversion after that. Medlock’s leg got a lot of work this game as he booted his third field goal and then Norwood struck again. The fourth quarter had Smith find Galloway again to make it close, but backup runningback Brian Calhoun shut the door late on Miami’s comeback hopes. “Jerious [Norwood] bailed our a**es out today,” exclaimed a happy Coach Pete Carroll. “Chris [Leak] didn’t play well, but now we know that we can trust Jerious to pull out some wins. If we can get Shaun [Alexander] going, with the way Jerious and Brian [Calhoun] have been playing, try stopping our running game in the playoffs. I don’t think it can be done.” The Shamrocks, at 14-1, will travel to East Rutherford for the second time on the year to face the New York Giants Saturday night.

Re: A New Beginning - A Boston Shamrocks Fantasy Draft 'Chise

YEP, THEY’RE READY

Leon Williams celebrates by jumping into the endzone on his interception return for a touchdown.

Shaun Alexander runs over Mike Doss on this 19 yard carry.

EAST RUTHERFORD (AP)- The New York Giants decided to bring back some memories and wear some old throwbacks to spark some life into the struggling team in hopes of upsetting the 14-1 Boston Shamrocks. Note to the reader: it didn’t work. Boston forced nine, yes nine, interceptions, got three passing scores, three rushing scores, and three interception return scores in an indescribable 63-10 domination over the New York football Giants. Chris Leak started things off with a 34 yard strike to Steve Breaston for six and then Jerious Norwood added a 23 yard run to paydirt. Jason Elam hit a field goal to end the first quarter in hopes of bringing back the momentum to the Giants. Leak squashed that momentum by hooking up with Breaston for the second time for six, and then Leon Williams picked off a Daunte Culpepper pass and scored. The third quarter saw Ahmad Bradshaw pick up a fumble (a la Steve Breaston in the first Bills and Cowboys games) and run it back, but that would be the highlight of the night for New York. Leak hit Breaston once again to put the dagger in the Giants’ heart, but the Shamrocks wanted to push that dagger into the Giants’ entire body. Leon Hall intercepted a pass and ran it back and then Shaun Alexander, yes that Shaun Alexander, scored his first rushing touchdown in nine games. He followed that up with another one in the fourth, and then just when you thought the Shamrocks were done, Dominique Foxworth ran back an interception of his own to seal the deal for the Shamrocks. Foxworth’s score was his sixth of the year, most in the league. “We’re ready,” Coach Pete Carroll commented. The Shamrocks (15-1), clinching the home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, will have a bye week as the Wild Card Round plays itself out.

The gameplay started annoying me and it was tedious work typing all that stuff up. I wish I'd known you were following(I do remember you posting once or twice).
The thing about 07 is, even though there's no fumble problem, playing on All-Madden is completely unrealistic. I can beat the Chargers 42-21, but, chances are, LT'll run for over 200 yards. Plus, I got rid of the game a little while after. I was real frustrated with it.

For real, looked like a college game.

Trust me, that's a compliment. Great job with these two wins.

oh and for future reference, i will continue this when madden 09 comes out. i don't have the money for madden right now, so i think i'll just get it for christmas. i plan on doing another season with the shamrocks with full game reviews and such, and then i'll be finished with this. i'll post the results of the 3rd season and more, with season stats and all that stuff. so look forward for shamrocks: year 2, once i finish this season, it'll be an exciting one. =]
