Those are sweet uniforms. Your team looks good. You should do well.

Those are some weird jerseys, but i like them.
And ewww with picking Shaun Alexander...I don't see anyone on your offense that is like a, "wow!" player, Cotchery is ok, but i guess we'll see how your Shamrocks do this season!

u could of gotten a better rb the next round and u should of gone for a receiver earlier, someone like colston or burress who are deep threats

Re: A New Beginning - A Boston Shamrocks Fantasy Draft 'Chise

i want to build my team around my running game, that's why i took alexander. besides, he's still good in the game, lol.
as for everyone else, i just took the best player available at the position at the time.
i'll try to suffer through the first season with Carr and Croyle running the show, cause i want to try to pick up Colt Brennan or Brian Brohm in the draft.

Haha, trying to struggle, have you looked at my Lions chise? I don't update it anymore but i had Carr as my QB, he took me to the Super Bowl,
and then i traded for Croyle, and then he took me deep into the playoffs.
They can be quality QBs if you play right.
Anyways, i would pick Brohm over Brennan.

if u have a high draft pick then u should definitely go for matt ryan. he is the best qb in the draft no doubt.

SHAMROCKS SQUEEZE BY THE JETS

Shamrock safety Mike Brown jumps in front of Jets receiver Reche Caldwell to pick off a Seneca Wallace pass.

Shamrock runningback Shaun Alexander celebrates by diving into the endzone after a 61-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Rookie Justin Medlock lines up the game winning field goal while Brodie Croyle holds.

EAST RUTHERFORD (AP)- After blowing a 17-0 lead, the Shamrocks got their first ever win in franchise history when rookie Justin Medlock kicked a 29-yard field goal in overtime to defeat the New York Jets, 20-17. Starting quarterback David Carr struggled but the Shamrocks turned to runningback Shaun Alexander, who had 167 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. "Shaun ran real well today," says Coach Pete Carroll. "Our line had some excellent holes for him to run through and he took advantage." Michigan rookie Steve Breaston had a nice game also as he was Carr's leading receiver with 5 catches and 94 yards. He also returned 6 punts for 112 yards, including a clutch 31 yard return to set up the game winning field goal. "The game is definitely faster in the NFL, but I definitely felt like I caught up to the speed of the game," explains Breaston. The Shamrock defense was awesome too, as the got 3 sacks from tackle Rod Coleman and 2 from Julius Peppers. They also held Thomas Jones to 68 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries. The Shamrocks will host the Chargers next week.

SCORING SUMMARY
2nd Quarter
BOS- Justin Medlock 44 yard field goal
BOS- Shaun Alexander 61 yard TD run (Medlock kick)
3rd Quarter
BOS- Jerious Norwood 8 yard TD run (Medlock kick)
NYJ- Stephen Gostkowski 38 yard field goal
4th Quarter
NYJ- Thomas Jones 14 yard TD run (Gostkowski kick)
NYJ- Reche Caldwell 12 yard TD pass from Seneca Wallace (Gostkowski kick)
Overtime
BOS- Justin Medlock 29 yard field goal

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY
GOOD: Shaun Alexander, Steve Breaston, 7 sacks by the defense
BAD: David Carr, Jerricho Cotchery, Jerious Norwood
UGLY: 5 dropped passes, 4 sacks allowed, 2 fumbles lost

sorry i don't the whole game statistics, i'll have them for the next game.
and i know the pictures aren't very clear, but they'll have to manage.
