as per this

I got this from the post about the online tourney, its in their rules.....PE4CE!

PLAY BANNED!: HB PASS OPTION (any playbook, any formation). Due to a severe programming flaw in this years Madden 2004 version, the play selection "HB PASS Option" is forbitten for use during gameplay in this tournament. How does it work? If the play is called, the offense can simply run it normally, pull the pass windows up and down, and the defensive backs will run away from the play uncontrollably. Not looking to make the tackle or make the play at all.

Well it is ran in the real NFL..

Why don't you say you can only run it once a game?

But used correctly.

mvplaya, you've had about 5 posts saying if its in the game, its in the game, shut the hell up. its just not allowed. "Well, it's ran in the real NFL..." of course it is, is there a fake NFL? no, this is madden nation

Well he's right it is run in the NFL. VERY RARELY THOUGH. NOt more than once a game. Anything more should be cheese, but now that we've found out there is a programming glitch and the DBs run away like idiots then it should be outlawed.

I have seen it as well. It is a play that will net at the least 20 yards a play.

It's not really an issue of if it's in the NFL or not, because we all know it is. It's an issue of bad programming in a game. It's not allowed because it's exploiting a glitch.
