This is staight from Nathan at EASO. EA's official statement

EA is aware of an issue with Madden NFL 2004 XBOX not being able to import a draft class from NCAA Football 2004 XBOX. This is only an issue on the XBOX version.

We are currently researching this issue and we will fix it as soon as possible. Look for future info from us shortly"

I'm thinking that along with a xbox roster update they will include somthin (some sort of console game patch) to allow that problem to be fixed.

Nathan the producer of EASO (all EA online stuff) emailed it to me. I'm a member of the Community Leaders program thru EASO and we get the game free and early so we can post stuff about it at fan sites etc. He emailed that to us all and asked we post it.

The patch might be called Madden 2005 and you'll get it about a year from now.
