making videos for 2004!

When the game comes out I need someone to give me a tutorial on how to do the videos with the fraps stuff. I read all the stuff over in the MM forums, but still could not get it to work and tried everything correctly and multiple times. My comp is a 1.7 so it should work. Anyways I dont even want to bother doing it till 2004, so any of you guys who are really into it that want to show me how, please feel free to do so ASAP. Thanks.

I havent done it in a while, but it's fairly simple. I'll give you a hand once I've got the game in my hands. Last I heard fraps had a new version out that made things pretty simple.

Alright good deal. For some reason it was giving me problems, so hopefully I can figure it out this time.

Actually here's the best way to do it and this is the way we do it in our league for 2k3

use fraps ( get 2.0 because he can handle high resolutions) and capture the replays and then import those fraps movies into Ulead video software and then save it as a windows media file so it will shrink it down and can be used on websites etc like this

Wish I could help Strutt. And it's spyfy, not spyfly. Pet peeve of mine. I hate that name. Humor me. LMAO.

I use Fraps 2.0 and ULead (same league as GT) but I still keep my resolution set to 640x480x32 just because I want to keep the file size down. Fraps 2.0 records the sound but that can be both a blessing and a curse in your videos.

Here is my latest one though:

Or the one currently on my website is:

Actually Gotham I am finding recording at 640x480 doesn't save much in file size vs 1024x728 my videos are around 13 meg or smaller now with fraps 2.0 where they were around 20 meg with the original fraps at 640x480
