This is what isn't in the demo and hence I can't review it:
Maxed Graphics Settings
Commentary
More than two teams
Owner/Franchise mode
etc...you get the idea

But I can give some little nuance changes in the series I was really excited about.

1) Remember how in 2003 you'd have an open reciever and you'd know the window for the pass is a small and quick one, and for some reason the ball seemed to take too long getting there?

Now, quick passes are just that, quick. In addition to the general game speed seeming faster, so too do the passes. Really useful since I always thought the passes took too long gettin there.

2) In 2003, when you tackled, or you dive tackled rather, your guy seemed to be diving into 120 mph winds because he would kinda float there and not go that forward and not make the tackle unless you were practically on the guy you ewre tackling. Your dive tackles are more realistic now. Its luckily still nothing like the absurd 10 yard dive tackles in the 2k series, but you go a little further and won't miss as many easy tackles.

3) Playmaker seems overhyped. Not as useful as you'd think, but I'm sure there will be those who will find it very useful.

4) DB AI is MUCH improved. Forget the long passes by both you and the CPU. Its much harder. The DBs also run faster so its just flat out harder to beat them deep unless they suck. More fun to play defense now.

5) Running animations are MUCH better, as is the line blocking. Feels so right this year.

6) New interface is sweeet.

Anyways, just posting cuz I'm pumped. I'm sure in the next 2 hours everyone will have the demo so this summary is useless, but I just thought I'd share anyways...cuz...well...I'm pumped. I'm gonna go play it over and over again until EA ships me my mofo'ing game.

WOW! I just downloaded and played a game! WOW! I played 2003 on 1600X1200 resoultion and this demo looked better than that! My question is, can we reconfigure the controller settings somewhere? I'm using the PS2 adapter.

Can't wait for this game and sadly, I didn't see any dirty uniforms. But it'll be a great game.
