Is it just me or is everyone seeing this problems
Ok I have played now about 7 games using the demo and have had some problems let me see what you guys think.
1) Players seem unresponsive compared to last year and NCAA2004. 2) I select a LB and get ready to blitz, before I have a chance to press turbo at the snap of the ball the CPU takes him over and starts backpedaling him, makes it very difficult for me to get a good LB blitz like in last year and NCAA2004. 3) Players speeds seem slow very slow, I threw a pick to ROMO and K.J couldnt catch him for 40 yards, even though he was right behind him. THATS TOTAL B.S 4) More to #! there seems like a delay between movements of the players like LAG. 5) RICH GANNON ran the ball 10 straight times??????? I guess this is the Michael Vick ERA. 6) DB's AI is VERY STRONG, hard to throw the ball so far. 7) game play is too slow way to slow. By the way I am running Win XP P4 2.4 1/2 gig kingston DDR memort. Radeon 8500 Matt |

I noticed it too Matt. While I didn't focus as hard on the demo, it seemed that passes were TOO difficult to complete. If it were that hard, we wouldn't see 60 percent completion rates on a regular basis.
I agree about responsiveness. The RBs seem ineffective, not in terms of power, but agility and speed. I pressed turbo but it made little difference in my eyes. Of course, I'm waiting on a FireStorm Dual Analog to get here, because this Gravis Eliminator is crap and gets stuck on "right" direction unfortunately. |

remember u are talking about the demo which allows u to change 0 options about anything all u can do is play the same 1min quarter game so dont worry about that kind of stuff until u get real game and are allowed to modify ur settings

I agree agent. With the full version and my new controller, things should markedly improve.
I think I had the same problem with Madden 2k3 and this Gravis Eliminator, so I won't judge the game yet. Just the demo. |

Since when did NFL Players have a turbo button to hit. They are down playing the turbo button because it shouldn't be that effective. Players can speed up some, but not as much as in past versions.

Gravis Eliminator is the worst controller ever... I broke the d-pad in a day... exchanged it for a new one, broke the new one in a day too... great concept, I love the feel of the D-pad for playing space sims but terrible construction and terrible for d-pad games.
