How do you edit players in franchise mode?

Can we? I remember on the console version we could, but I can't find it this year on the PC version?

I don't want to edit any ratings, just attributes and some names.

nope, you've never been able to do it in franchise mode....you can put them through the training camp drills and improve their ratings...but that's it...I know how you feel man, I would like to change the numbers of some of my draft picks, but no can do =(

I think they mean guys you draft along the way in a franchise. I don't have 2004 yet, but the only way you could in last years. Was by exporting the team, and editing it in the roster editor. Then start a new franchise all over with that team/teams.
