Hi Guys,

How do you map buttons for the controllers? I know how to get to the screen and assign...but what I wanna know is how do I reassign say Rec. 1 to my controller? Here is what happens. When I click Throw to 1 rec. and try to map it to a different button. It changes to throw to 7 rec. I must be doing something wrong.

Thats just how madden works. Some controllers and ps2 adapters are able to match maddens but I dont know which ones. Many people think it is a problem with the controller and I guess it kinda is, (check your gamepad buttons in your control panel) but I think madden should have set receiver "1" to receiver "1" regardless of which button you change it to.
For example, if i remap my far left receiver to button 2 on my gamepad, that reveiver should still have have the "1" icon above his head during gameplay.

yeap I know what you mean... I'm using my Xbox controller and its not mapping correctly...arrrgghhh!!!

Does the xbox controller show the right icons above each players head? Like X, A, B, Y?

I dont know... I cant get the buttons to map correctly to try it out.
