Is there a way to download the rosters without playing a game online? I am new to the ps3. i had a ps2 but bought the ps3 and madden 09 on tuesday. i have not been able to find the downloadable rosters either. what's the deal? help!

Just go to Online... Quick Match... when you enter the screen, you'll be asked to download the new roster. Click 'yes'. You don't have to actually enter the game and quit. You won't take a 'quit' of 'DNF'.

i just got the roster downloads. they are automatically downloaded when you enter to play a game online. you really don't have to play. just download the roster files and go save them. cool. thanks.
