Chris Nelson's Official Madden 07 Roster Update Thread (Xbox 360)

I just figured I'd start the thread now even though the release is a few weeks away. I will be doing weekly updated rosters for Madden NFL 07 on the 360, uploading them with the Xchange 360. I do the rosters for myself, because I can't bring myself to play the game unless the rosters are completely accurate. I'm hoping EA gives us at least some player-editing capabilities, if only those that are in NCAA 07. I'll post back here later when I have the game on the 22nd. I may or may not release a roster before Week 1 of the regular season, but I will definitely be releasing them every Friday or Saturday during the season.

Sweet. But wouldn't it make more sense to update every Wednesday or something, so you can base each update off the previous week? Or does it take five or six days to update after each weekend?

I usually release on Friday because most teams have finished making transcations for the week by Friday, since the games are on Sunday.

From what I'm hearing from the the popular Madden sites that already have the game, players cannot be edited on the roster, and created players haved to go through minicamps to acquire ratings rather than just being given ratings. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed about this. I feel like there is no excuse for EA to leave out these simple roster-editing capabilities in this year's version.

That being said, I have no idea if I am going to be able to fully correct the rosters or not. Once I have the game I'll have a better idea of what I can do, and I'll let you guys know then if I will release weekly roster updates as previously stated.

Who to release:
WR: Brandon Rideau

FS: Shawn Mayer

You will need to create FS: Justin Hamilton,7th Round Draft choice, he's gonna beat out Mayer, Hamilton should prob be rated 70-73 OVR he's solid, Hard hitter, Instinctive. Heres his info.

Probably not gonna happen, at least until EA releases an update. The default roster is in horrible, irreparable shape.
