What major changes needed to be made?

Moved all (or at least most) of the free agents currently on teams to their respective teams, while released all the guys I noticed that are NOT on teams to the free agent wire. Also made a few more recent moves (like the Branch trade) that EA didn't get to.

can you make a file that doesnt include the h.o.f players on it? because the one i downloaded had them on it

Hmmm, mine didn't. Are you sure they didn't load onto there with your profile? That's how it works.

hm i guess that could be it, but i swore there were some new guys unlocked i didnt have......i know i had to move the game from my memory card to my harddrive...maybe thats what happened, ill try doing it again...thanks for the help

Deleted all existing rosters and profile from the harddrive and the only file on the memory card was your fixed roster. Loaded the roster directly from the mem card and the FA list still showed several HOF's.

I'm having the same problem. The cowboys roster still isn't close to being complete but I want to start my franchise. Even with these rosters I can't because it's littered with HOF players. Is EA ever going to fix this mesS?

That's strange, because I still use that roster for all my franchises and I don't have any HOFers on my free agents list. I've unlocked plenty, but I've never saved over the roster so they are never on there when I use it.
