Question
When it comes to the smaler details on a jersey, like the lines on football pants, or a hockey jersey, do you guys have any tips? Or is it a small brush with steady hands, cause if thats the case I dont have steady hands

it all depends. Sometimes, a decal is best for some small lines and decals. You just won't match the uniformity. But often times, decals become misshapen, and far from "true", which is why we usually paint lines. As for painting, I use a layering method. I work light to dark whenever possible. A decent illustration of this can be seen at customsbyjomo.com under the customizing tips section. Choose customizing tips from master gunner....about 1/6 the way down the page is a section on striping. The section is actually mine, but somehow it ended up under T-dubbs. Oh well. Hope that helps.

. This is probably the best method to doing jersey lines. Even i managed to get my team canada lines looking mighty fine and striaght. and remeber, if you happen to mess up, you're only using acrylic paint, so itll take probably less than a minute to dry, at which point you can go over it with the proper colour a few times. Then you can just giv'er again. all in all, even you mess up putting black on white, it'll probably take you about 5 minutes to fix it. So if you mess up a lot, dont worry aobut it, just keep fixing it back up, because you'll eventually get that "magic touch" where you wont mess up at all, even with the finer lines. Good luck :)__________________ ![]() wedge // there is no freedom in life without freedom of mind says: i don't need advice for this ****. - wedge on dealing with women.
