first of all, jomos site should still be running. It is: www.customsbyjomo.com

as for primer, different primer has different results. Most seem to use krylon primer (white or grey). I greatly dislike the white primer though. For white primer, I have been using rustoleum white primer with alright results. I have heard good things about Rona primer however, which might be available in your area. However, primer is not always necessary. I have made probably 30 customs without the use of any primer, its kind of a user preferance thing.

In regards to decal paper, you can order it from the following sites:
www.beldecal.com
www.micromark.com
www.kustomrides.com

you can get white or clear, either will work. I prefer white, others use clear, and others yet use a mix of both. I might suggest getting a mixed pack of each color so you can experiment to find what you want to use. Also be sure to buy some MicroSOL decal solution. Some use MicroSET as well, but I have never found it to have any actual use.

Good luck, and if you have any more questions, post away, I'd love to help.

just take a little caution on rubber parts such as pads and gloves, some primers don't take well to them. THey'll take days, or weeks to dry sometimes.

Check that paint on a figure or section you don't particularly care about. Just to make sure that kind doesn't cause any problems with the plastic or the acrylic.
