In or Out

I just bought Don Cherry and Greztky (Oilers) a few weeks ago.

Do you guys leave them in the packaging?

from what i gather, nerds and collectors keep them in the packaging, in order to keep them in mint condition.

and if you're just a hockey fan who bought a hockey figurine to have around the house, you should open it.

Yeah, all mine are out on the shelves at home. You can kinda set them up too, like I have Jagr scoring on Cloutier and Hasek stoning Lecavalier.

Hey, was about to ask the same question when I saw this.

Just bought my first ones last week. Legends 2 Gretzky Kings and Oilers for only about $5 combined and the one I'm really excited about: Grant Fuhr variant with blue uniform for only $6. Not a bad deal.

I'm a toy collector (and a nerd I guess, according to ColeJ. ) but since most are from the 80's and are hard to come by in original packaging, most of my collection is sitting out on the shelf. A few more rare things with good condition packaging that displays well are still in.

Maybe if I had one of the rarer variants that go for like $100+ I'd keep it in (but I'd never spend that much on one figure anyway). I think I'll have to take these guys out, they're just too cool.

I go for the 6/12$ ones so outside the package they go.
