[ALL] - So whats actually "new" with mlb 2k7?

all i see about 2k7 is that all they did was fine tune everything.
am i correct? although i am picking this up, there seems to be almost no additions to this year except smoother gameplay overall and new animations.
anyone else feel this way?
if im missing something please post.

Yeah I think I read an interview that said there will be 3 steps to making the next "great" baseball game. The first year(this year) is fine-tuning the gameplay, animation, graphics, features (like inside edge because it was only like half way finished last year,) etc. The second year they'll add some franchise stuff and revamp franchise mode to make it good. The third year they will add all new features and just fine-tune things that still need to be fine-tuned.

whats new? that maybe this year I'll be able to get through an inning before turning it off because something stupid happened.

Really though thats it. Improved graphics too, but the main thing is the gameplay.

Yeah 2k6 was full bugs and I didn't enjoy it much I'll definetly will rent 2k7 before I buy it.

never played 2k6.....sounds like 2k7 will be better

It was a good game last year, just half assed. If they fix the gameplay, and actaully let you lead pitchers, better graphics diving play. I got a hunch this will play like mvp 05.
