Okay, I have been very busy upgrading the league to a 30 man league. We have a ton of dedicated, sim-style players that applied for the 15man league. Needless to say, we had to upgrade. There are alot of MN and MM guys in the league. There are about 6 spots left, sign up while you can. If you dont make the first 30 in the leauge, I encourage you to signup anyway, and I will put you on the waiting list. I am sure the first few on the list will get in right away.

Here is an overview of what the league looks like so far...

Introduction:
Since we are going with a 30 man league, I want to stress one point... Longevity and Stability are the MOST IMPORTANT things in our league. Consider it my personal moto: Longevity and Stability. League rules are geared towards preventing owners with weaker teams from quitting. I have no reason to cater towards guys who only want to play with top teams. Anyone can play as the Red Sox or Mets. Great leagues are built on the blood, sweat, and tears of owners that roll with teams like the Royals and D-Rays. Remember, longevity and stability are key! If you want to be a part of a great league that will be around for years to come, you have come to the right place. If you are here to play a few league games with the Yankees, then quit, this is NOT the league for you.

Season I Draft Info:
For our first season, we will not have a standard draft. All owners will submit a list of teams they want and I will try my best to make everyone happy. After our first season, we will decide subsequent draft orders based on ‘draft points’. What are draft points you ask? Owners earn draft points based on how long they have been in the leagues, as well as the strength, rather the weakness, of their team. The longer you have been in the league, and the weaker the team you run with, the better. Do you see where we are going with the whole ‘longevity and stability’ thing?

Once MLB 2K7 is released, February 27th, all 30 owners will have 48hrs to submit a 10-15 team wishlist. YOU MUST SEND ME YOUR WISHLIST VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE. If you are the only owner to use your #1 pick on a certain team, you will automatically get them. If other owners have selected your #1 pick, that team will go to the owner with the most seniority on our website. Once every owners #1 picks have been assigned, I will assign teams with the next highest pick you submitted. You will have a much greater chance of getting your top pick if you select less popular teams. Example: you know everyone will want the Mets and Yankees, so you may not want to ‘waste’ a pick on such a popular team. Example: if you make Seattle your #1 pick, and 5 other guys have Seattle as their #2 pick, you will automatically get Seattle.

Draft Points:
This is the engine that will keep this league running for years and years. Owners will be awarded 1 draft point for every week you play, multiplied times the Power Ranking# of your team. Below is our League Power Rankings. The lower your team is ranked, the higher amount of draft points you will receive. You can use these draft points for the next MLB 2K league you decide to join. Draft order will be based solely on the amount of draft points an owner has. I will have no problem finding a new Mets or Yankees owner, so they wont receive as much compensation. I will, however, greatly reward Royals or D-Rays owners for completing an entire season. If you quit/removed from league, you will lose all draft points. Owners will receive 50 additional draft points for playing Opening Day, and 50 additional draft points for a World Series Appearance.

-March 4 - June 16
-15 weeks, 3 games per week, 45 game season.
-Games will be bunched into a 3 game series. It should take just over 1 hour to play entire series vs that team. It is strongly suggested that you and your opponent play the entire 3 game set in one sitting.
-Season I Playoffs: June 17 - June 23: ALDS, NLDS 5 game series: ALCS, NLCS, World Series 7 games series.

Season II Schedule:
-June 24 - October 6
-15 weeks, 3 games per week, 45 game season.
-Games will be bunched into a 3 game series. It should take just over 1 hour to play entire series vs that team. It is strongly suggested that you and your opponent play the entire 3 game set in one sitting.
-Season II Playoffs: October 7 - October 14: ALDS, NLDS 5 game series: ALCS, NLCS, World Series 7 games series.

Season III Schedule:
-Franchise League
-October 15 - ?
-162 game season
-Complete Player Draft
-Trades
-Only the elite owners that have proven they are here to stay
-Other rules TBD

You can still sign up and be one of the first on the waiting list.

Our waiting list works different than other leagues. If you are #1 on the list, and a team becomes available, I will send you an email asking if you want the team. If you do NOT like the team, you can pass and remain on the waiting list.

Due to all the people signing up for the league, we have opened the leauge up to 30 owners. So we have alot of new openings if you want to get in a professional, adult, sim-style league!

Here is an overview of the new leauge:

15 week season, you play one 3-game series per week. By July, at the MLB all star break, we will start the playoffs and season II, if your interested. Season II draft position will be ordered based on seniority from first season as well as strength of team. If you have been with us since day 1 with a weak team, you will be at the top of the list for season II teams. All owners who have played at least one full season will be able to take place in Season III, franchise league, where we will draft every team completley and play in the off-season.
