i am really feelin this game man it is pretty good stuff.overall i couldnt be any happier.only played for 2 hrs but so far so good.

so far Im really enjoying it. Maybe its cause I havent played a good baseball game in 2 years lol.

The only thing I've noticed bad so far is I went to dig a ball up in the corner by a wall, and when my player bumped up against the wall he fell down. That was a problem in last year's game.

I'm really liking the game. I haven't played a baseball game since MLB2K5. I've only done two exhibition games but I'm really liking it.

Visually (I'm playing on a SDTV)- The games look a lot better in the day time, rather than at night like in the demo. The animations are spot on and popular players often have specific animations which is nice. I noticed the sun changes position as the game goes on, later innings I was in the shade. Very nice. Also, the wind was blowing pretty hard for a few innings and you can see the jerseys and everything waving in the wind.

Audio - The commentary is pretty standard, pretty much what I remember from 2K5, it's not bad by any means but it's nothing particularly special. Same goes for sound effects, good, but nothing to write home about.

Presentation - Typical 2K Sports, their presentation is great. From pre-game to instant replays, play analysis, and post game, it's everything you could ask for. During cut scenes the camera acts in such a way that it emulates a TV camera. It'll sometimes zoom in to a players face as he steps up to the plate and when it does that you can see the focus shift and the background will be blurry for a second as it shifts. Very nice little details. Probably still a lot more to be seen as far as presentation goes as you play more, I've only done two exhibition games so far.

Pitching - Pitching is something I really like. Lots of options with your pitches, I like that you choose where you want the ball to break, rather than where you want it to end up. Not a lot to say about it, except that it can definitely put the pressure on you if you start messing up.

Batting - The swing stick is something new for me, and I love it. It gives you more freedom with swings and allows you to change your mind much more quickly. Pull back and release for a normal swing, just push forward for a defensive swing, pull back and push forward for a power swing, and then there are other options for bunting and what not. It feels very natural and fluid.

Overall - While I've not seen the season/franchise/online play yet, I'm very pleased with the game prime facie. Just based on what I played, it feels like a very solid baseball game, that can be a ton of fun with some friends. It's a beautiful looking game that plays great with few apparent flaws.

I have a terrible eye in baseball video games so i swing at everything even though i know its a ball...

the only thing i dont like is how CPU pitchers try to pick you off so many times. you take two steps and they try to pick you off like 5 times and then finally pitch. i looked for sliders but cant find them
(anyone else know?)

went 0-4 2 strikeouts w/Pujols

and in franchise mode, i wish the little menus didnt block the news screen and just display them at the free square where they show the screenshots of the game

im really liking the game.. ive played a few times now and my only main gripe is that theres little loading screens that pop up here and there and that the camera view isnt dynamic or even changeable other wise a very solid game..

as for other little tid bits that i dont like is the in accurate pitches some of the ball players have in ther aresenal and that the pitchers fatigue is still off.. the best part of the game is the customization one can do to their favorite ball players.. extrmely impressive!!

Yes but under a fake name. I dont remember what it is at the moment. They wont be able to add his real name or likeness in until hes played a regular season game.

hell of a game I just played, came out very realistic. Won 4-3. Peavy went 7 1/3 with 8H and 8SO and thats with 85 pitches thrown which took him down to about 26%. Not bad on that, but the opposing SP threw about 70 pitches and was down into the low teens so I'm guessing the CPU uses full juice on each pitch. I was conservative in how much I put into each of mine.

Game ended on a sweet barehanded play by the 3rd baseman to throw out the runner.

this game is simply incredible

and i am playing on an sdtv (parents don't give a **** about electronics) and it still looks stunning.

One of my favourite parts of the game is the pre-game, ussualy they screw over Toronto but it actually looks really nice, also the detail of the commentary is pretty good. I noticed they talked alot about Halladay and Sabathia about their seasons before and how Halladay is a guy that can win a game despite if their team scores only a run.
