I need help
I have no idea what I'm suppose to do for pitching. I've attempted to read the booklet that came with the game but it's not making much sense to me. You guys have any tips for me to get the timing down on this thing?

Re: I need help
Pick where the ball breaks, hit the pitch button you want, hold, then when you let go and the big circle sinks in to the smaller circle, time it to where you hit the button again as as soon as the big and little circle meet.

Re: I need help
The biggest key is understanding how your pitches break, and then to position the cursor so that the pitch will break where you want it to. Its also much easier if you don't let your initial circle get too big in order to make sure that you can easily hit your accuracy bar at the back end, and I really haven't noticed much of a difference in pitch speeds doing this and have been able to take my pitchers deeper into the game before they start getting really fatigued.

Yeah I'll probably take you up on that offer chant. The thing is that I'm having a hard time recognizing what the accuracy bar is. I can't for the life of me have my patches end up where I want them to.
This is what I get for not playing a ball game since Bases Loaded. __________________ ![]() |

Re: I need help
this is funny i just finished teaching my buddie how to picth so i hope i can help u out with this...
first you need to know how each pitch moves.. once you know , then you're suppose to place the ball where you would like the picth to break from .. so if u want a slider to hit the out side corner start your pitch towards the inner half of the plate .. you can find how pitches break by pusing down on the right trigger i believe or the right stick.. Now as for throwing the pitch... once u pick your pitch you innitaily press the corresponding button to start the your pitch , itl'l apper as a circle now the longer you go with out pressing it to essentialy "close it" the bigger the circle gets making it a fatser/more movement oriented pitch with the draw back being that it is very hard to close the circle.. but one opens the cirlce and then trys to close it as the circle comes to contract ( in its simplest terms) ... |
