Wtf!?
I'm in the second game of my GM Franchise with the White Sox and am scheduled to play the Cleveland Indians.
During the bottom of the 1st inning the game is called due to rain. Before starting the 3rd and final game of the series, I toggle through my line-up moving Javier up, ahead in the lineup to replace Buehrle since he was scheduled to pitch the 2nd game. Upon viewing player ratings, I notice my closer Bobby Jenks has a loss. Confused, since I've only played one game which I won, I check the overall team standings. The rain delay resulted in a F'ING LOSS in my franchise mode. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I rarley if ever complain about games and small glitches/mistakes they contain, but recieving a loss due to a called game in the 1st inning is complete B.S. |

Re: Wtf!?
Indeed it does.
However, I'm beginning to think that the results of the following game might determine the outcome of the "rained out" game. After re-staring my GM mode due to the glitch, my 1st game (nice luck huh?) was called in the 7th inning again due to rain. The score was 0-0, so obvioulsy no "W" or "L" should appear. After exiting out of the game, I checked, and LUCKILY there was no appearance of a decision. However, after finishing my 3rd and final game of the opening series against the Indians, my record was 0-3, when it should have been 0-2 with a rain cancellation. Thus, I just restarted my GM mode for the 2nd time, and won my first game. I assume from now on, if there is a rain delay/cancellation, I'm going to just quit and restart. |
