Best pitchers to use?

I just played with Brandon Webb, he's ok, sinker is way overrated by people, it's not that good, his 2-seam isn't bad though, i tried Smoltz, i can't seem to strike anyone out with him though, he rarely allows ER, but he just doesnt seem to get any strike outs, 3 games with him, only 11 K's, any tips? where should i place his fastballs,changeup, sinker,slider.

i changed the sliders a little and made the Contact rating go down a bit bt upped power and hitting skill so that ican actually strike poeple out. Also i increased take strike overall a little and decreased take ball overall. otherwise the computer will always take balls like no matter how close and they will always make contact on strikes. it was annoying but now its fun. i dont give up many hits bt when they do hit them they usually hit bombs lol.

thts dumb..soome1 was telling me that the same problem, you have to pitch out the zone, work around it....not change up the sliders so you can have your K's... personally i thnk this is realllly dummmbb

kinda funny but for me the hardest pitcher to hit is Tim wakefield, if you're playing a 2k game, his knuckle is impossible to hit, al you have to do his position it out of the zone to the outside, you can't tell if it's a ball or strike and 90% of the time someone will swing at it.

try throwing changeups well-inside or well-high, 60% of the time on a 0-2 or 1-2 count the CPU will swing and either pop-up, strike-out or foul a ball straight up. a curve that breaks out of the zone low-away works well especially if there good at that low-away balls.
