Not with their starting pitching they won't.

Re: MLB 07 season prediction time

AL East Yankees they will get Clemens also, and made a solid deal to get younger in the Randy Johnson deal.
AL West Angels
AL Central Indians
ALW.C. Red Soxs

AL MVP: Hafner
AL Cy young:Santana
AL ROY= Alex Gordon
AL COM:Mark Buehrle
AL Champs Angels

NL Central Cardinals
NL West: Dodgers
NL East: Mets
NL Willdcard:Brewers(they are my sleeper)
NL ROY=Jason Hirch(probably not, but not really sure) He pitches for rockies, so it's probably a crazy pick haha

NL MVP:Pujols
NL Cy young:Carpenter
Comeback player of the yeare will be: Jim Edmonds
NL Champs=Dodgers

Mets over Indians in 6

Here is some more predictions: Chris Duncan will be a force to be reackened with in the nl central, and will him 35+ hr's and will force the pitchers to not walk Pujols, and he will hit 54 hrs 337 average 145 rbis. They will win 93 games.

The cubs are the most dissapointing team as Soriano makes many errors in center, and there medicore pitching will not hold up. they will win 75 games.

Brewers will be the surprise team of the league. They got alot of young talent, who will continue to strive to be the best. They will fall 3 games short of the st.louis cards. I look for 87-90 wins from them. The key is Ricky Weeks, if he hits how he should, that makes there middle infielders average, and power go up. Prince Fielder,JJ Hardy, Weeks, Bill Hall, Jenkins, Kevin Mench, Brady Clark are a solid young combo. Another key is the closer. Can turnbow put it together, to bring them a bullpen like the Stors when they had Lidge,Dotel, and Wagner.

Pirates will have a little better season than last year, but I don't expect much. Gonzalez is the most underated player in the league. He had an awesome year closing last season. they will win like 71 games.

The reds are going to be in big trouble this year. They were idiots last year trading Felipe Lopez, Pena, Kearns, and didn't get much at all. They better Pray that Harrang doesn't get hurt, or there whole season will go down the drain. They also need a better closer as I don't think Weathers is the answer.

NL West: I think the dodgers will be a really dangerous team, they made alot of solid moves this season, especially signing Pierre, who will help them will speed in the outfielder, and was really hot at the end of the year. They also Signed Schimdt, and got 2 other solid outfielders, and there catcher looked really solid last year. Martin or something like that.

Giants will struggle this year because everyone will be in the Bonds hype. They overpayed for Zito, but I got a feeling he is not going to be very sucessful. He hasn't been anywhere near his cy young performance in the last few seasons. Also losing Matheny will affect there defense.

Rockies will be better than people think, they have Hawpe, Adkins, and many other great young players, even if they deal Helton, who played average last season. They have quietly devloped a solid young group of players.

The padres will finish in last place this year, they have no offensive power, and there pitching is getting older. I don't know how many more years Hoffmen can hold up, and Peavy is there only solid pitcher pretty much.

Dodgers will end up winning it all, Ethier will be the x factor, because if he hits like he did most of last year, he solidifies the lineup, this year, they will also score more runs, because Pierre is now a member of there team. The key for them, is there closer not blowing to many saves, because, they have some solid bullpen, and Penny,Schmidt, are 2 great arms, and they had the best era last season. If Garcipara stays healthy, they can score many more runs.

The darkhorse has got to be the d'backs, I can see them winning it, espeecailly with there rotation If RJ comes back to his old form, they are dangerous, because RJ, WEbb, and Doug Davis is one of the top sp combos there is. I think the bullpen will cause them to fall a few games short of post season though, they will win 81 games or so.

The division will be really close though.

The NL East, this year it is wide open, noone really did anything to solidify that they can win the thing, so many teams are close, the favorites are the Phillies probably, but I like the mets.

Mets have a experienced long playoff run, and have alot of young hitters, who will continue to get better. Wright, Delgado, Beltran, Reyes, are a great core of hitters. The key will be the starting pitching. Can they hold up until Pedro comes back.I think they will, and will win the division

Phillies who i think are the favorites, but will not hold onto it, because they will know there are the favorites and under acheive, Howard will be walked more, and will chase many more pitcher, and his average will go down to 270, and his strikeouts will go way up, which last year he had 281, 30 more than the 2nd. If Utley gets in a slump/gets hurt there season is pretty much over, if it's for half the year, because than Howard can get walked. Burrell has never impressed me, he hit 40 hr's one year, kinda like Hildago they will finish like 3rd

The Nationals will play around 500 ball this season, they have a great closer in cordero, virdo, zimmerman, Kearns, Felipe Lopez, Ronnie Belliard, they probably aren't expected to do a whole lot, but they have some chemistry, and players that will are about, or in there prime, they will still finish in 4th, this division will be just like it was 2 years ago, a battle, where in a week the team in last place can go into 1st.

The braves could either win 70 games, or win like 85, this year will be the first in a couple years, they have a great closer in Wickmen, I see him having a breakout year. Mcann has a great shot at hitting just as good as last year, and they still have andruw, and chipper, francour at this very moment. The key will be Francour, can get get on base with walks this year. I see them winning like 83 games, and finishing in 2nd.

AL To come later

Al east

Yankees will probably win the division, I think A rod comes back to his mvp form from 2 years ago, and that the pitching steps up. I also predict they get Roger Clemens, and Wang will keep pitching awesome. Mussina,Wang, and if they get Clemens is a good front end of the rotation, especially since they can put up alot of runs, the year Clemens had 2 years ago, he probably would of had 25 wins if it wasn't for his team not scoring. They will win 91 games

The Red Soxs will probably end up not making the playoffs again. I think Matsuka is overated, and will struggle, and if they move papbelbon to the rotation, i don't think they got a closer, and will blow way to many ball games. They still got Ortiz and Manny, but I think they weakened there Bull Pen. 86 game win season

Blue jays are probably the most dangerous/sleeper team in the division. I think they will stay with the Yanks/Soxs, but will fall off at the end. If Halladay stays healthy, I would watch out. I think there Pitching may be a little weak though, especailly if Burnett gets hurt again, like almot every other year in his career.

Baltimore: It's been a long time since they've had a winning season with 5 mangers in 10 years. I see them having a solid season, but will still finish in last place. I feel the division is much better this year, I see them winning 77 games, but look out for Markisis he will have an awesome year. I look for a few of the young pitchers to step up. I see Bederd having a great season.

D'Rays are a team with more talent than people give them props for. They will finish if 4th place with 79 or so wins. Crawford=a monster, and I think a few other pitches besides Kasmir will step up this year, who techinaclly had just as good of season as anyone else last year. I think BJ Upton and Delmon Young are studs, and think this team is going in the right direction. It's kinda unfair that they were in the same division with the top 2 payrolls in mlb.

The AL West is probably the most wide open division in the mlb. Every team in the division thinks they can win the hole damn thing. Texas added sammy sosa, and will be dangerous, especially if Tex and Blalock play to their potential. I like the Angles to win the division though, because they got a pretty solid rotation, with Vlad, Kendrick, Caberera, ect. Kendrick will have a breakout year.

Oakland: Billy Ball is back, but I don't think it will work out the same. Losing all of the big 3, you don't have a real number 1. They also lost Frank Thomas who I think won't have a great year, but the lineup looked weak last year, and will be even weaker. Chavez pretty much now has no power protection. I see them still winning 79 games and finishing in 3rd.

Angels: They will win the division pretty easily. Jarrod Weaver in his 2nd year will be better, and if Colon ever gets healthy watch out. They also have one of the top offenses in the division. 86 wins.

Rangers will be a sleeper adding Sosa, and having Lofton, Blacklock, Texeria, make them a veteran team, who knows how to pull out close games. Millwood leads the staff, but I still don't think they have enough pitching to win the division. 78 wins

Mariners: are one of those sleeper teams you just hope can win lately. After a few good seasons, they have been horrible lately. They have spend big Money on Sexton and Beltre but both haven't payed off. Rumors of Ichiro going could effect them, but they probably have the best talent in all of the division. Felix Hernandaz is a great #1 who will be in the running for the CY Young, but say they win 82 games, and finish 500.

The AL CENTRAL

This is probably the best division in baseball with 4 teams feeling that they will win the division. I still think that the Twins will be hurting without Lirano. Can Santana stay healthy for another whole year? If he doesn't they are done.

Royals will be an improved team with 72 wins. They got a solid ace, and Grienke will be coming into his own, he has the talent to be a starter in the All Star game. I also like Gordon and feel he will have a great year, and keep them and there fans interested.

The Indians who were a big dissapointment last season who didn't meet expectations will be a sleeper, but turn some heads. CC is around the time where he will shine, and Grady Sizemore is a beast, and will have a great year. They have so much young Talent who are all going to be in there prime. 95 wins and a AL Championship

White Soxs have lost some pitching, and Contreous has been shaky lately they still got the power, but I think Thome may be getting old, and they won't have that killer instinct come August, and will win 88 games and just missing postseason play. They will be fighting with the twins and tigers when it comes down to cruch time, and will be splitting games with each other

Tigers may have alot of young talent, but I feel this team is in for a year like the Indians had last year. They will take the Talent for granted, and will be back in the playoffs next year. Plus this is a tough division, and with only 1 wildcard makes this tough. 87 wins.

Twins like I said Johan will have to carry this team, and if he's hurt they are in trouble. Lirano was the x factor last year, and when he was pitching is when they got hot. Torrie Hunter is in his final year of his contract, so if he hits lights out, they may not be able to afford him. I also think Mourneau will not hit as well last year, and the hitting will not be enough 82 wins.
