The Los Angeles Dodgers...

They have gotten off to a solid start, 2-2. Russel Martin has played great, making at least one big play every game. I cant wait till Furcal gets back from his injury, and when we call up Loney from the minors.

Re: The Los Angeles Dodgers...

I read the paper today and it said Kemp and Schmidt should be fine. Both are listed as day to day, but Schmidt isnt expected to miss his next start. Also, Rafel Furcal is expected to return to the line up friday night. Hopefully then can get the next two to win the series vs the Rockies.

I think once they call Loney up from the minors, Nomar will move to 3rd and Betimiet will be the odd man out.

Re: The Los Angeles Dodgers...

The only pitcher who hasnt produced on our staff yet is Schmidt. Other than that, the rotation has been great and the offense has been consistent. Since starting out 0-2 they are 9-2. Good first two weeks of the season.

Right on the money with this one. Nomar took ground balls at 3rd before the game in Arizona on Monday, to make room for Loney. We have got 12 guys who deserve playing time right now. Grady has his hands full.
