All I gotta say is Josh Hamilton needs to be playing every day. Screw Freel I don't need his 20 SB's I want Hamiltons bat in the lineup every damn day. He's got 2 homers in his first 2 starts as a pro. He's not afraid and he's got power for days.
Also what the heck did Encarnacion do, they were treating him like a leper today no one was within 10 feet of him on the bench. I missed the first 3 innings did he do something in those 1st 3 innings? Here would be my ideal Reds starting lineup. 1. Josh Hamilton- CF 2. Brandon Phillips- 2B 3. Adam Dunn- LF 4. Ken Griffey Jr- RF 5. Edwin Encarnacion- 3B 6. Scott Hatteberg- 1B 7. Alex Gonzalez- SS 8. David Ross- C 9. Pitcher #1 Pinch Hitter- Javier Valentin |

Yah..in the first, with runners on the corners and 1 out..He hit a pop fly that went a little past second..and didn't run. He just stood in the batters box and watched it...if Hudson would have dropped it, they would have gotten an easy double play because Edwin wasn't even running to first.
I think right now our best lineup would be this..Edwin is playing horrible and got disciplined by Narron so I took him out. Freel 3B Hatteberg 1B Dunn LF Griffey RF Hamilton CF Brandon Phillips 2B Gonzalez SS Valentine C Ross is hitting like .060 __________________

Yea I know Ross is playing like ass, I can hit a 90 mph fastball he looks like a little leaguer up there right now. I just think Ross will turn it around and will end up hitting .260+ this year I don't think Valentin can hit .260+ he's just really good as a pinch hitter. If Edwin doesn't change his attitude then he may be on his way out but I still like his bat when he's on.

Is freel hurt? I think they should have him as SS, i think Alex Gonzalez is out of his prime, and will hit maybe 260 at best.

Freel is a must in the line up, his speed is well needed especially on the base paths, Griffey is off to a rough start at the plate and once he comes around he should help the offense a whole lot more. Josh HAmilton is a good story too, from what he came from now he has what is it, 4 or 5 homers? good for him.
