What happened with A-Rod and Howie Clark in the top of the 9th.

I constantly see sites with people hat constantly cry about that play. Heck I go to a baseball site, and I saw a post that said A rod is the hugest piece of **** in baseball because of that play. Even if A-Rod shouted something, Clark would still have missed that ball.

Everyone is gonna rag on A-Rod no matter what he does. If Manny Ramirez does that, the press will say, "It's just Manny being Manny!"

It was a unsportsman like move. A-Rod is known for this type of stuff, that is why so many people hate him. What he did was low class, baseball needs to address the issue.

I love A-Rod. I can't stand the Yankees but I absolutely love A-Rod. I also love this move. It's brilliant IMO.

are you idiots? I was watching the game live, and they showed about 1000 replays of A-Rod shouting exactly when he passed clark. Clark was playing 3rd Base, and technically it was the SSs balls, so clark moved away.
Then, they zoomed in and managed to capture a-rod actually shout 'MINE!'... and when you take into account his little fagass smirk after the play, and the fact that he has done cheap BS plays in the past, i dont know how you can say this isnt a cheap BS play.

...it was a pop up and clark was standing underneath it... yet he would have missed it how?

It also states in the rulebook that ANY kind of interference or an attempt to confuse the fielder when he is trying to make a play on the ball is illegal, and that includes verbal confusion...

There was an interview with a reporter (some guy,i dunno who) on the jays game tonight, and he said he asked a bunch of players around the league about the play, and all of them said they had never seen anything like it before, and it is a disrespectful, unsportsmanlike play...

face it yankee fans, a-rod is a cheating asshole. (in more than one way)
