yup heard this on espn1000 its a big signing. i just hope he keeps putting up the numbers. he's good for the cubs because he's so versatile. he's fast enough to bat him 2nd, or hits for power so you can bat him cleanup. i'm glad to see the cubs are making the moves to win.

Great signing. Having Lee back for a full year only makes this lineup stronger.

they need pitching though. they can't get anything out of wood/prior. they need someone to help out Zambrano

I wouldn't be surprised if Prior was able to put in a full season.

I'm very happy to see this move for the Cubs (they are 1. a. for me in baseball teams. Most of my family is from Chicago, and the Cubs are the only I openly root for). I was concerned that Lou wouldn't get the tools to succeed in Chicago, but it looks like ownership is serious. They still need to get a solid pitcher, and a solid bottom of the order bat.
