Mayhem at Daytona (5 crew chiefs suspended)
From the other day:
"NASCAR suspended the crew chiefs for Matt Kenseth, Kasey Kahne, Scott Riggs and Elliott Sadler and docked all four drivers points before the season-opening Daytona 500 - its strongest statement to date on cheating." And revealed today: "Michael Waltrip's crew chief, David Hyder, and team director Bobby Kennedy have been suspended indefinitely by NASCAR after officials impounded the drivers Toyota Camry during post-qualifying inspections for the Daytona 500.... an unspecified substance was found. A source told the Associated Press that the substance was a form of jet fuel." Wow, not the way Nascar wanted the season to start, but glad they are becoming strict with their penalties... |

this is a really bad start for the Toyota's.
i don't see waltrip as a person to do that. but anything is possible. waltrip's Primary car will be the 00's backup car for the duels. __________________

what also sux is that alot of toyotas that i think needed to race this sunday were vickers,mayfield,and also menard, who drives a chevy. this is going to hurt them and it shows that there is just too much competition this year

what a race. martin nearly had it, but felll short. that last lap was crazy. also, did you see all that 'dodging' that kahne did during the last 3 cautions? go through every one of em. finished 7th, but with the -50 pts, weree 23rd. oh well he'll make upp for it at Cali next week
