NASCAR 07 thread
Was looking for a thread on this game and didn't see one. So I figured I would make one.
From what I've read in the reviews, if you've played the last couple of years...this year's version isn't worth picking up. I haven't played since the last "Thunder" year, and decided to rent 07 one day. I went out and bought it for XBOX a couple of days later. I can't stop playing it! Anyone else playing? |

Re: NASCAR 07 thread
I do have one question if there is anyone out there playing it.
I seem to get burnt on every start/restart. Everytime we go green I fall way behind and 5 or 6 cars seem to pass me. I've tried tweaking my trucks (mostly racing Craftsman so far) for more acceleration, but nothing seems to work. Even if I have one of the fastest trucks on the track I get burned on restarts. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated! |

Re: NASCAR 07 thread
;yeah i have the same problem too. i cant get good starts or restarts, even when im on the pole. im a great short track driver, i get good starts on those tracks, as well as michigan and cali, but i cant get good starts on 1.5 mile tracks like atlanta and texas. it takes a while though, but sometimes, its a little too late

Re: NASCAR 07 thread
oh yeah i also cant stop playin it. except when its school time. and bed time. im doing a fight to the top mode, im in my 4th year and i won 39 races in my first three years driving the truck, busch, and nextel series, plus i won the truck title my rookie year with 11 wins, i also had 3 busch wins. the next year i only won 3 busch races although my teamamte harvick won 11 but didnt win the title. and in my third year i won 7 races as a rookie in nextel cup at martinsville, bristol, pocono 1, richmond 1, new hampshire 1 and 2, and homestead. finished 4th in the standings. and i won 15 races in the busch series on the way to the title after having to battle with stewart for practically the whole season. we both never fell below 2nd place for the last 30 races. now im in my fourth year as the owner of my favorite organization Evernham Motorsports in nextel and busch. plus i own a whelen team as well

I know, it's now really fair. But hey, it's not fair that everybody pulls away from me on every restart for some odd reason either. __________________ I'M SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIPIMPALICIOUS! ![]() Wii Code: 3929-6063-8713-4225 Let me know if you add me. Also, the worst part about getting passed like that, is after I get off of short tracks I have a lot of enemies. I like to cut the corners sharp and use the other cars as backstops ! Anyways, I'll get a good start up and here comes the line of cars with 3 or 4 rivals going by and purposely trying to get back at me from the short track. Don't know how many times I've wrecked on the first lap because of it! |

Re: NASCAR 07 thread
LOL! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about there! Short tracks are always the easiest in the games because of that. Whenever I'm on a track like Bristol or Martinsville I can use this technique and start in last and finish in first while I'm sleeping. Try it on a full length race. You can easily lap the entire field by like, 15 laps.

Jimmie is going to win it. I still am holding out hope Denny Hamlin can win it though.

Re: NASCAR 07 thread
I'm feeling the same way. I'm a Tony Stewart fan myself. If he can't win it, having a teammate win wouldn't be bad.
