Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived(NBA 2K7 Franchise)
![]() This Picture says it all. TMAC dominted the Jazz in the first game of the season. 93-102 The game was not as close as the score indicates. Jazz trailed pretty much the whole game. TMAC lit it up early scoring 16 in the first quarter. Outscoring the whole Jazz team in the 1st. In the 2nd The jazz started getting to the line to try and cut the lead but the rockets kept exchanging scores with them. Finally Utah Began to mount a comeback as they had trailed by as much as 25. In the 4th Utah cut into the lead a great deal thanks to some sharp shooting from 2nd year guard Deron Williams going 5/7 from the 3 point arc. If there would've maybe been 3 more minutes the Utah Jazz could've maybe pulled off a miraculous comeback. Stars Rockets McGrady-34 PTS, 7 REB, 2 AST Battier-14 PTS, 2 REB Yao-8 PTS, 10 REB, 2 BLK Alston-5 PTS, 19 AST Jazz Williams-22 PTS, 6 AST, 3 STL Okur-17 PTS, 4 REB Kirilenko-11 PTS, 8 REB, 5 STL, 3 BLK Brewer-6 PTS, 3 REB, 4 STL, 3/12 FG Team stats Rockets 62% FG 5/9 3's 13/20 FT 36 AST 25 TO 40 REB 10 STL 56 Points in Paint 31 Bench Jazz 43% FG 6/20 3's 13/20 FT 26 AST 16 TO 32 REB 21 STL 42 Points in Paint 33 Bench The next game does the Jazz no favors as they have to take on the high scoring Suns. How will Kirilenko compare to Marion? Can Amare get back to his dominate form? How will Raja play against his former team? Can the Jazz find a consistent scorer? Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived(NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 2 Current Record 0-1
![]() The Jazz stuggled in the 3rd quarter could they come back and win againt the Hot Suns?? Jazz @ Suns Boozer Okur Kirilenko Giricek Williams Stoudamire Diaw Marion Bell Nash The Utah Jazz match up more to the Phoenix Suns. Both teams lacking a true Center. Two great defenders at the 3 in Marion and Kirilenko. Allthough the Jazz are more defensive oriented. Can they possibly stop the Suns? Or even score themelves? The game started off a lot better for the Jazz as they were able to exchange scores with the high powered suns. The Jazz tried to get the big men involved early and were happy with the results as Okur ended the first quarter with 8 PTS and 2 REB. Amare was the leader for suns with 6 PTS and 3 REBS. The Jazz lead 24-23 going into the 2nd quarter. In the 2nd quarter the Jazz built up a 13 point lead but the suns widdeld the lead down and eventually took the lead by 1 at half the score was 46-47 Suns. This game looking really promising for a great ending was not the case in the 3rd Marion took over and scored 11 Points and 4 rebounds. Bell also added 7 as the Suns took a 61-75 lead going into the 4th. In the 4th Utah began to get desperate so they started shooting a lot more 3's shots were just not falling for them. In the final minutes the Jazz began to cut into the lead thanks to andrei's hard work on defense and on offense. But in the end Marion was just too much as the jazz lost the second straight game of the season. The jazz are hoping to rebound against the Golden State Warriors. Stars Suns Marion-27 PTS, 10 REB, 7 AST Diaw-14 PTS, 10 REB Nash-11 PTS, 14 AST Stoudamire-8 PTS, 12 REB Jazz Kirilenko-22 PTS, 9 REB, 6 BLK Fisher-15 PTS, 2 AST Okur-14 PTS, 6 REB Williams-5 PTS, 8 AST Team Stats Suns 58% FG 13/18 38 AST 19 TO 40 REB 3 Offensive REB 4 BLK 50 Points in Paint 22 Bench 22 Fast Break Points Jazz 41% FG 9/12 25 AST 10 TO 31 REB 11 Offensive REB 8 BLK 40 Points in Paint 31 Bench 6 Fast Break Points The Jazz' next opponent will be Backup Point guard Derek FIshers old team the Warriors. Can the Jazz win their first game or will thye lose for the 3rd straight time? Will Kirilenko continue his strong defensive play? Also the Utah Jazz would like to announce they will be having a Press Conference for the fans. So if you have any questions about the team this year then just ask. We will begin to answer questions after the warriors game. Last edited by TheMaddenFreak : 10-01-2006 at 01:22 PM. |

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived(NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 3 current record 0-2
![]() This is all the Jazz needed to beat the warriors. The Jazz looked to win their first game of the season agaisnt the 1-1 Warriors. The start of this game like the others started with utah falling behind in the first but rallying in the final minutes of the 1stto make it a close game again. After the first the Warriors led 30-27. With Baron Davis scoring 15 PTS in the 1st. Okur was the leading man with 13 for utah. In the 2nd quarter things began to get out of hand as the Jazz' rookies had thier best games. Millsap, Brewer, and Brown combined for 28 points in the 2nd quarter giving utah a 43-60 lead going into the third. Warriors continued to struggle on defense and offense as they only managed 15 points in the 3rd and allowed 37. With Utah being up 58-97 going into the 4th the Jazz decided to play their young guys for the rest of the game. Long story short the Jazz humiliated the Warriors final score 74-126. With Utahs bench scoring more then all of the warriors team. Stars Jazz Millsap-19 PTS, 5 REB, 4 BLK Brewer-17 PTS, 4 REB. 8 AST Collins-17 PTS, 8 REB Kirilenko-14 PTS, 6 REB, 5 BLK Warriors Richardson-18 PTS, 3 REB, 3 AST Davis-17 PTS, 8 AST Pietrus-16 PTS, 2 STL Dunleavy-10 PTS, 7 REB Team Stats Warriors 38% FG 24 AST 21 TO 33 REB 1 BLK 32 Points in Paint 23 Bench Jazz 63% FG 42 AST 11 TO 44 REB 10 BLK 82 Points in Paint 78 Bench Utah again has a tuff upcoming opponent The Detroit Pistons allthough they are without Ben wallace this team is still very deadly. Can Utah win agaisnt a top team or will they fail like the first 2 games? How will the Pistons fair without Big Ben? How long before Brewer starts? Will Sloan finally decide this is the year to play rookies a fair amount of minutes? Remember the press conference is now. So ask away. |

Looks good, I enjoy playing with them in that game. I just hate how the Millsap and Brown aren't on the game

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived(NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Ronnie will contine to get around 20-23 minutes of playing time. Untill he's ready for the step up. Also depends on what happens with Giricek. Ronnie certainly plays better defense then Gira. But still struggles missing too many inside shots.
