Whats the difference between shooting with X and shooting with the shot stick??

You don't have any control over what kind of shot you do with the button (aside from just determining the release point). With the shot stick, you have a wide range of moves to use, especially in the post. It doesn't really matter for jumpshots (which is why I always use the button for shots), but it opens up a ton of possibilities in the post and on dunks/layups. Check the manual if you have it -- there's a decent description of what the stick does for you. Here's the basic rundown:
Shot Stick towards basket = regular dunk/layup Away from basket = reverse Towards player's left = finesse move Towards player's right = power move There are most moves in the post using the shot stick, but I can't really give you a list, as it depends on their post offense rating what they're capable of doing. But just experiment with it and you'll find some good moves, especially with a guy with a high offensive post rating... __________________ ![]() Thanks to REVO for the sig! |
