[360] - 2K8 Association Mode?

has anybody heard any updates on this game?
I hope the association mode is fixed up a lil bit. There were so many goofy things that happened in it last year. It made it almost unplayable. CPU teams were constantly trading. I remember Raja Bell being traded 3 times in the same season! The Coaches would retire frequently. Scouting had way to many bugs with, and was meaningless( I once sent 2 scouts out, and the never returned all season long...it would say -145 days till the return of them). keeping star players was ridiculous. Every team in the game was over the cap by year 2 or 3. Vince Carter sat on the free agent list for 2 years one time i simulated. Rookies from College Hoops looked ridiculous...just ridiculous. There was white guy with spiked hair in my draft class, and he came into 2k with corn rows and some goofy ass goatee. I hope they fix the little stuff like this.

i heard the 11th they will release info which is E3 I believe, also I hope they fix all that. Main problem with the imported draft classes is, NBA 2k7 tried to make a portrait for drafted players so a college player imported over has a portrait for him and the game models off the portrait which was a stupid idea. The also need to fix the CAP sliders, and let you be able to add weight for your character along with more hairstyles every year the college game out shines the nba game in the cap department

it seems like every year at least 10 star players are free agents at the end of the year. I can never sign any of them because im over the cap by the end of my first season no matter what team i have. i have to rely on losing for a couple years to get some solid players through the draft because i can never afford any free agents

I think it runs pretty well. Other than some simple things like being able to change rookies shoes. You could tell who was drafted because they all had all white shoes. You can't change them but you can change veterans shoes.

I'd like to see some new features on the scouting and player development.

I pretty much agree with all the things said. I could never resign or sign great players because I never had any money. So I was left editing their ratings and signing them cheap them fixing the ratings again, which I did not like to do. I hope everything is fixed for this coming up build.

yea i agree with every comment made but i also think they could fix the association alittle bit by changing the cap alittle maybe boost the cap money by alittle more each year it may take away some of the realness of the game but it would help alot at the same time.I also think they should make computer trades more realistic for some reason every time ateam loses a starter they trade players to fill in the spot even if the starter is hurt for only like a week that sucks.And i also think they need to fix the rookies you import cause i once drafted noah and he was dark black and had a bold head whats up with that.they need to get rid of the other game they have on there and use that team who was working on that and have them focus on something different like a superstar mode for the nba where your player would get shoe contracts and movie deals and stuff like that

ey prince i completely agree with u on that it would be tight if they did smething kinda of like mlb the show did with u having ur own superstar. It would be gay if he would be the only one u can control though. but as i recall the nba series did the same thing and it was a complete failure, which i know people are going to bring that up but, with nba 2k's graphics and gameplay it would turn out to be a complete success

Im sorry but I agree with them. I also have a little problem in mind as well. I really hope 2k8 will have a little different look in game play mode. Don't get me wrong I love it, but make Crowd really really into it if the game is sold out. For example like Madison Sqaure Garden the knicks are always down by few points. The only way they can catch up is when the crowd are booing. When the k nicks catch up the louder the crowd are. Let the crowd cheer you up more. That would make people not quit the game early if they are down alot, because the crowd would get them ampt up if they have a 10-0 run.

i love josh howard...but in 2k7, try keeping him on the mavs after year one....it's impossible! i guess without trading half the team away
