NBA 2k9 Demo Impressions Here

Kobe can go baseline every time and score(In 2k9). Hopefully it's because of the low level on the demo. Anyone else notice this glitch?

does anyone know what difficulty the demo is on? It seems really easy to fast break and dunk with kobe all day.

Also, one problem i still see exists is in the post up game. KG posted up Gasol and KG was stuck in an animations where he just kept trying to move and couldn't then shoots with 1 sec left and it goes in. i saw this a couple of times in the demo.

I believe it's on Rookie or Pro...but in all of the vids on youtube of people that have the retail version, it's a much different story. It's looking really good to me.

Also there are quite a few people on the 2K forums with the game, including one of the mods, and on OS forum 2.

any word on how all these people got the retail version already??.. did 2k do a special launch party or something?

Couple things I have to say.

Looks like they have some player specific animations.
Did that Rondo fake. I think it has something to do with the advanced shot stick. Kobe did a ridiculous move not sure what it was but I'll try to explain. He was in his triple threat about 15 ft away from the basket. Faked too the left, faked over to the right. Then he just shot it up with one hand and swish. He did it twice and it was heavily contested but i couldnt stop it. Another thing. Rondo is amazing at stealing. Checked the ratings and hes third highest steal in the game. Can't wait to hit the court with CP3 now with his 99 steal rating. Isomotion is a bit different this year. Only move I noe for sure is the spin and regular cross. Computer D is pretty good. Can't just beat ur defender and go for a layup, unless ur kobe, cuz there is a good chance you will be blocked now. And the spin off of the backdown is a lot less efficient as there is a good chance you will be blocked. So yea it feels a lot more realistic. I do feel that Bynum doesnt look like bynum. O yea one more thing.

lol that's funny that you say that because that's exactly what happened to me the very first time I played the demo. I tried taking a charge with Gasol and Garnett got stuck in that same animation.

it happens with every game. some stores just end up selling them early. luck of the draw i guess.
