Re: Patch in the works rumor
the worst one was where you got 2 rebounds and got the 20 rebound achievement, that one was a pain in the ass to get the real way, and people got it in 2 minutes after that patch

Re: Patch in the works rumor
Hey Fred, are we going to try the league again? I read something on the 2K forums saying that if you schedule the games, then the stats and scores will owrk properly. Basically, one person needs to schedule the game, and the other perosn needs to accept the invitation -- then it should work.
Anyway, I'm jonesing for some league action. I figure a few of us could at least try it and see if the stats feed right and whatnot. If not, we'll wait, and I imagine it would be addressed within the rumored patch itself or at the same time... I'll probably be on tonight, so hit me up if you want to try it out (goes for anybody else in the league also). |

They need to fix the online play when someone with a cable modem plays agains someone with dsl, seems like the game gets all choppy and you can forget about making a free throws.

Re: Patch in the works rumor
It's so weird that I've never had that problem (I have cable). Unless a game is actually laggy, it runs almost perfectly online (especially compared to damn EA games). But yeah, a patch for this game would be awesome -- or a roster update that reflects the AI trade and adds Yakhouba Diawara to the Nuggets (who's been starting since Melo/JR have been out)... Either one would make me happy at this point.
And there was a thread at OS about this, but has anyone else tried playing offline with default sliders on Superstar lately? It seems to play a lot better than my modified HOF settings in almost every way. It's almost like they changed some key things with the ratings and whatnot that work the best on that difficulty level. I dunno, but my stats are a lot better in almost every way, there's less frustrating moments (especially driving to the basket or making transition passes), and the AI has been giving me close games. I've really been enjoying this game since I went back to Superstar. The only sliders I have messed with is boosting my rebounding because those stats were still skewed to favor the CPU. Now I'm running about 45-50/game on 10 minute quarters and keeping pretty even with the CPU. __________________ ![]() Thanks to REVO for the sig! |
