He says alot of stuff. He's been on Odom's case for being out of shape, but I think Odom will start in the opener. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually came off the bench and Ariza starts, though. I have my doubts about Odom at SF, it's been tried in the past and it's never worked. I think his value will be as our back-up PF.

i expect them to make the playoffs last year...its supprised me how bad this team was but now with derrick rose i expect a .500 team or better

With the addition of Gerald Green and bringing back Diop the team looks pretty good for the 08-09 season. The Mavs are in the hardest conference in basketball but that has always been that way. My overlall prediction is the Mavs starting off slow but then kicking it in to gear after a month of learning. Dirk must become a all around better leader on and off the court. Josh I don’t even want to talk about him. That kid just needs to shut his mouth and just play. Jason Kidd should be more in tune with this year offence. Remember this name Brandon Bass the kid will be big this year. My hope for the Mavs is a championship banner being raised next year. But in reality I think they will make it to the Conference Championship and losing to the spurs in 7.
