BRAND, MAGGETTE DOOM WARRIORS
E. Brand scored 40 points, dished out 9 assists, made 2 steals and blocked a shot and C. Maggette dropped in 37 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 118-100 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
The Clippers jumped out to a 28-19 lead at the end of the first quarter but the Warriors cut the deficit to just 55-51 at the half. Brand and Maggette then took over in the third quarter to stretch the lead to 87-71.
C. Mobley added 10 points and S. Livingston also had 10 points and a blocked shot.
B. Davis had 30 points and a blocked shot for the Warriors. M. Ellis added 22 points and 6 rebounds, S. Josikevicius came off the bench to score 17 points, A. Harrington added 14 points and 8 assists, A. Biedrins had a steal and a blocked shot, s. Jackson had a steal and P. O'Bryant blocked a shot.
The loss dropped the Warriors to 0-2 on the season.
