Re: Which is Better
Lmao NBALive? YEA RIGHT. That game sucks. The whole series has sucked after about 97. There isnt enough realism And they've tried this year but 2K is still waaayyyyyyyyy beta. Even tho 2K has its problems. I think they based the game tooo much on programmed actions. And if nebody plays the PS3 version I think it got worse after the game update. Its like everything is predetermind depending on when you push a certain button no matter how unrealistic it is. Like strippering the ball on the way to the basket, or sliding the defender under the basket to get cramed on. And THE LEAD PASS! LOL Yo that Sh!t gets ridculous. It seems like when ever you LEAD PASS! its a great chance of your shot goin in. Through crowds and all because the A.I is too stupid to notice it. But lol even with all of that the game is still way beta than NBADEAD. So... that lets you know how bad Live is

Re: Which is Better
I've played both demos to decide which one to get, and I came out liking NBA Live a little more. I feel the presentation and graphics are better, and otherwise play quite similarly. I have of course only played the demos so I can't speak to the full games.
If 2K8 indeed is better than Live, then its a shame that this does not come across in the demo. The NBA Live demo lets you play alone in a gym before jumping into a game, to get acquainted with the controls. 2K8 just places you in the game right away. May be a small thing, but EA is definitely convincing me based on the demos. |
