2K needs to do something good this year. It's the same game over and over while NBA Live seems to be including all these next gen type features. If the gameplay is tolerable i may have to make the switch this year.

I'm telling you fred, I don't think Live 08 was intolerable. I could enjoy it last year.

I think the biggest problems Live has is their presentation, depth of franchise, the unnatural and unrealistic player movements and things but the graphics are on point.

ya im hoping its decent this year so i can enjoy the new features. i like 2ks gameplay but its the same game.

The graphics and camera angle difference was crazy when I went from a month of Live to 2k8...I enjoyed both though, love the shot stick in 2k8

Man, seriously if 2k is the same old ****. I'm switching back to Live..lol. Maybe not switch but I'll definitely get both games. My boy was actually telling me one day, would if a game could actually do what the DNA feature can do..and my response was it would be hard as hell. Can't wait to tell him this..lol.

Nice to see Live adding some stuff, but in the end it will all come down to gameplay for me.

OTP is sick. I participated in a lot of Pasta's OTP Nights and had a lot of fun. Especially if you know who you're playing with. I use a power forward usually, I owned with Lamarcus Aldridge

Im loving the new features so looks like im going with the switch this year and you guys are right - NBA 2k is the same **** over and over so this will be interesting

2k gotta better gameplay but Nba Live got better graphics , if Nba Live can step it up on gameplay then i would buy it

I think its pretty funny how people are declaring which game they are getting, when absolutely no videos have shown what 2K9 looks like. While I am impressed with what Live has to offer this year, I think its way too early to make the decision.

The recent videos look good and the previews sound good. I'm looking forward to Live 09.

But who knows because it's EA so you have to always be cautious....

I don't expect it to be perfect but if they somehow got the player and team tendencies correct and the animations are solid like I saw in the vidoes then they may very well have a great game in store for us this year.
