The NBA Live 09 Demo is out. I know it's out for the 360, not to sure about PS3.

Just got a chance to play it. One word....impressed. Graphics look beautiful and the gameplay is better than any Live on next-gen so far, although thats not saying much. Here are some impressions:

-Live will have an EA locker this year to trade gameplay settings, and it looks like they have 2K's idea where you can access a pool of files.

-clubs seem cool. i definitely want to try one of these.

-post up game is a lot better than 2k. You can actually back guys down. It looks so real with garnett.

-player models are the best i've seen in a basketball title. They players look like their real life counter parts.

-leagues are ****ty. same as madden, they aren't real leagues.

-they'll have something like 2K reelmaker this year and you can upload your vids to EA Sports world.

-nba live academy is like a training camp. i like this idea

-fiba world championships in it again. I like having this option.

Overall I like the direction the game is going. This could be the year I play this over NBA 2K. Good job so far EA.

Yeah it's getting up there. I don't see myself playing it in front of 2k just yet though.

Just finished playing it and I was impressed also. The movement seems to be a bit sticky i guess but I did enjoy it.

i liked it so far. I havnt picked up a BB game in a while. So far impressed.
